Paddy O'Furniture Sunday, Mar. 18, 2007 - 2:00 a.m. Hope your St. Paddy's was nice. We decided to stay in and watch a couple of movies, The Commitments and The Quiet Man. John surprised me with a St Patrick's Day card with Snoopy on it, saying "What's Irish and sits in the backyard all night? -- Paddy O' Furniture!" --- So, over here, LOOK. There's actually a group of scientists who are speaking up and cautioning us about getting too twitterpated about Global Warming! I've said it before, and I will say it again. I don't mind a sensible and factual effort from the scientific community to address what individuals can do regarding climate change; reducing one's bio-footprint whenever possible is a moral and sound thing to try and to. But I *do* resent being *lied to* in order to intimidate me into accomplishing this. --- And now we have R2-D2 mailboxes which have been decorated in honor of Star Wars' 30th anniversary. I hope not too many of them get stolen! --- It's been awhile since I've stuck my head into the Closet of Doom with an intent to clear it out. I know this is so, because in there, I found two Japanese nationals who were unaware that World War II had ended. Oh, hush, it is TOO funny. --- There's a very nice archive of 9 Chickweed Lane's Hallmarks Of Felinity here. I think if I work up the nerve to get more tattoos, at least one of them will be of Solange. --- Okay, that's it. Have a good Sunday. ---
