35W, Popcorn, & Thursday 3

Thursday, Aug. 02, 2007 - 12:43 a.m.

I was going down for my usual afternoon nap, drifting peacefully off to the soothing sounds of Michael Savage, when he interrupted his monologue with the bulletin about what happened in Minnesota.

Peace and strength to all my Minneapolis bloggers.

So today, I'll keep it light.

---

This is an actual item available on eBay: Pig-Faced Popcorn Kernel.

I submitted it to The Tonight Show, for the Stuff We Find On EBay segment.

---

And over here, harvested from a link over on Jim Hudnall's blog (in my links list on the left) is one fed-up consumer's check written to the phone company.

Love it, love it.

---

Finally -- I had a little fun over at the Simpsonize Me website.

Here's the picture I sent to them:

In a few moments, I was given a basic "Simpsonized" image.

I was able to tweak it until it looked like this.

All in all, a very nice little plaything.

---

Thursday Three:

What's your favorite color and why?

I have always loved red, because I actually look healthy when I wear it -- although lately I also enjoy black, khaki, and turquoise.

You are the ruler of the world. When a small group of people form to protest outside your castle, what's your response?

I'd try and find out what their problem is, and make sure they're fed.

If you could have a full (24 hours) day with one person, living or dead, who would it be and what would you do?

I'd have my husband spend time talking with my Uncle Joe.

There's a link to the left, but if it's still crippled, just steal these questions, or google the phrase "Thursday Three" and have fun.

---

There. Have as good a Thursday as you can manage.
