Solstice 2007 Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 - 1:27 a.m. Happy Solstice, everybody. It's Saturday. John and I will be sheltering in place and doing last minute prep for Secular Yule (aka Christmas). The air is also quite chilly, so bundling up is going to be mandatory. --- John sure picked a good time to go on vacation. The news is reporting that the company he works for is handing its current CEO his hat. For all of the sturm und drang that takes place up on the higher echelons, the essential core of John's job hasn't changed in twenty years. And for all of the various shift changes and shakeups, they're still the best at what they do. --- Here's a meme:
Who would s/he be? Tom Chaplin. And don't tell me you didn't see that coming. Where would you expect him/her to bring you? Nothing. Where would you bring him/her to? I'd crash him on the futon and come after him with bug spray if he smoked in the bathroom. What would you like to do with him/her? Cook for him and make him sleep. Whats the one thing youd been always wanting to ask the celebrity? How do you take care of your voice? If s/he didnt treat you well, would s/he be your favorite celebrity? If his voice remained the same and the talent level did not diminish, then I supposed I'd still appreciate the product he produces. What would you give to him/her as a gift before saying goodbye so s/hed remember you? No earthly idea. Link is to the left. --- All right, there you go. Have a good Saturday. ---
