Flea Drops & Black Holes Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 - 12:27 a.m. Today should be a hot time in Chez TooOld; gods help us all, it's Flea Drop Day! Since Solange will be duly mortified anyway, I think Dave is going to also clip her claws once he has her battened down to put the drops on her neck. She's been getting her claws stuck in the carpet and the window screens, so it looks to be time for a trim anyway. --- John was sick at home yesterday with a slight fever; he's feeling better now and should be reading this from work if all has gone as expected. --- In honor of the ribbon-cutting of the Large Hadron Collider, that big thingumy underneath the durt over thar in Yurp that's allegedly going to accidentally create black holes and destroy us all in less than a second sometime after the third week of October -- and with thanks to FARK -- here's a list of thirty other times the world didn't end, either. --- Nothing else to report; the new fans are working the way they are supposed to, and it is tolerably cool. --- Have a good Wednesday! ---
