Podulation Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 - 12:59 a.m. I've done everything that I've been asked to do regarding the PayPal refund for the counterfeit iPod. Still waiting on that. I'll give them until Monday before I tighten some more thumbscrews. Just after noon on Friday, somebody came knocking, knocking at my door. It was UPS, with a delivery from one of our regular electronic stores. I called John to tell him a package got here and he said "Oh, good. It's for you. Open it." So I did -- and I am now the proud owner of a REAL Third Generation iPod Nano. And I don't think I'll have to go to Berkeley to authenticate this one. No sir -- it seems that I have a husband here who is the real deal. --- Ashley Todd, a twenty-year-old McCain supporter, told authorites she was attacked and disfigured with a letter B by a black man who threatened her and vowed revenge on her for her McCain bumper sticker. She turned out to have faked this whole story. This is the sort of crap I swear vengeance on, when I'm in a vengeance-swearing mood. And I happen to be in one right this very minute, so here goes: I want this woman to feel the pain of every other woman in this world who has ever been attacked or abused in any way, and then not been taken seriously. I predict that when her karma is finished with her, she's going to need a very good therapist specializing in survival guilt and ghost limbs. --- Friday Five from here: How did you feel yesterday? The link is above. --- That's it! Have a wonderful Saturday. ---
