This is my safe space

This is where I post, where I dream,
where I hurt, and where I recover.

The iPod Meme

Wednesday, Jan. 07, 2009 - 1:10 a.m.

I am now succumbing to the iPod Meme that was recently circulated on Facebook.

Thanks to Scott Hysmith. If 'thanks' is the appropriate word, that is.. :-)

First, PLEASE DO NOT USE A SEARCH ENGINE HERE. It will spoil yer fun.

Set your music player on random / shuffle
Write down the first lines from the first twenty songs. (skip instrumentals, obviously)
Don't skip any to make yourself look good.
Embarassing and or archaic songs are encouraged.
Invite readership to post the correct song titles in the comments section.
Post the correct song titles the next day.

So, here we go. Have fun:

-You, still a whisper on my lips
-Woo hoo, woo hoo-hoo
-When the lights go down in the California town
-She's a wonderful lady and she's mine all mine
-Up on the hill, people never stare
-Love is a burning thing and it makes a fiery ring
-I walked across an empty land
-Ooh wah ooh wah cool cool Kitty
-I was born in the wagon of a traveling show
-Here's to the babies in a brand new world
-Ooh, you make me live
-Day after day I'm more confused
-Danger, in the shape of something wild
-Well I don't know why I came here tonight
-All your life you've waited for love to come and stay
-Well I've tried before to tell her of the feelings I have for her in my heart
-Moving forward using all my breath
-It's over and done but the hurting lives on inside
-I feel a hot wind on my shoulder and the touch of a world that is older
-Some folks like to get away, take a holiday from the neighborhood

I'll post the answers on Thursday.

Later today I go and pick up my new reading glasses!

Pictures will be forthcoming.

Have a good Wednesday.
