Jettison Monday, Mar. 09, 2009 - 3:59 a.m. Yesterday, Sunday, was essentially a non-productive day. It began kind of strangely, though, because John says I turned over and shut off my bedside alarm -- and I don't remember doing that at all. John was still recuperating from his drive on Saturday, and so we took it easy. I think the only official meal we had was waffles for breakfast and that's pretty much it. The rest of the time, we just free-ranged it. Which is probably as it should be on a Sunday. --- The good news is that yes, Alan also seems to think that we will be able to collaborate. I haven't tried to write with somebody in around five years and the last time was an abject disaster for a number of reasons. But things feel more hopeful and professional this time. Now we're figuring out our travel logistics and it all seems to be meshing. --- Friends, I've decided to go ahead and conclude a friendship. It's really weird to do this, but there's just been silence without closure, and I *hate* that. I'm not gonna mention names here in public, but I might do a little generalizing. If you are about to write or comment and say "Is it me?", please don't, because the supercargo in question has already been notified of the jettison. Hang in there and thanks in advance for putting up with me, loves. --- That's pretty much it. Have a good Monday. ---
