Schwag A Thon Saturday, Apr. 11, 2009 - 4:00 p.m. Sorry for a late post, and probably short, too! I was at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure for eleven hours yesterday, and it's nipping at my heels. But I spent a goodly sized chunk of my birthday gift card and got a nice hat and t shirt, and am probably heading back before too long for additional schwag as well. --- Had a really good surprise from Alan Brownlee recently. A month ago, I'd given him some lyrics from a song I'd already written, and told him to put music to them, just to see how close to the mark he would get. I finally let him hear the song, and he claimed he was blown away, and now that he knows what the darn thing is supposed to sound like, he's looking forward to helping me finish it. Yeah. Me, too. Most of what I write probably won't even be considered for the band, as it's a cover band, or an 'original songs that sound like 80s rock' band -- but Alan says he thinks we could collaborate on side projects at the very least. --- That's about it, loves. Thanks for being so patient with my lateness. Hope you're having a good Saturday. ---
