Walk Don't Run Monday, May. 31, 2010 - 12:51 a.m. Over the weekend, the Angels' Kendry Morales broke his own leg on home base as he was completing the course after a walk-off home run against the Mariners. I keep wondering why we still make people run the bases after a certifiable home run. Walk-off doesn't mean broken off. It means walk-off. --- Dave and I had a pleasant visit to Disneyland last night. Scot Bruce was his usual amazing self, and the weather was moderate enough that Dave and I could leave our jackets in the car. I perspired a little bit out on the Tomorrowland Terrace dance area, but the new haircut weathers these conditions beautifully. --- Tomorrow, Tuesday, I'll be heading back to San Francisco after two weeks here in Anaheim. I will be glad to be home, and I know with all I hold reverent that Old Buddy Dave will be glad to get his place back. This is probably the last visit until around early to mid fall, so we've gotten a lot accomplished. --- All right, that's it. I'm gonna go start packing. Have a good Monday. ---
