Decent Thursday, Sept. 09, 2010 - 12:14 a.m. Last night while I was sitting in my chair and minding my own business. I got prostelyzed via a text from a friend on my cell phone. Um, why? Am I not a decent person? I went and posted this on Facebook and I'm reproducing it here, even if it seems like I'm a little cranky: "The next person who sends me any religious materials via any means of communication whatsoever will be removed from my contacts lists and blocked from being able to interact with me again. I've never done that to anybody else, and I expect that same level of trust and respect from others. This is not a drill. Thank you. :-)" This compulsion some misguided folks have to direct me to God irritates me on a number of levels, the primary of which is that when I come across somebody doing that, I think they must just not trust God enough to do that work Hirself. --- Here's the link to Joe's obituary if you missed it before. --- Now then, I hardly ever link to a story requiring the viewing of a video to really enhance things, but this is a rare exception. There's been cases of mommy cats adopting baby squirrels before, but if you'll play the video in this story and listen very carefully... You will hear the baby squirrel vocalizing in the form of a purr. Awwwwww. --- All right, that's it. Have a good Thursday. ---
