Next, a Friday Five:

What is your favorite mode of travel? (Car, train, plane, etc).

I enjoy flying more each time I do it, which I am made to understand is unusual among people who fly regularly.

Where is the northernmost place you've traveled? The southernmost?

Banff Springs, Alberta, which is one of the prettiest places I have ever been, and Tijuana Mexico which is one of the saddest places i have ever been.

What is the last place you visited for the first time?

St Michael's Catholic Church in Livermore, California.

Of all the places you've traveled, which is your favorite?

I really liked the eastern Nevada desert, just for sheer spectacle, but that was a one-off. For regular visit, definitely Anaheim / Disneyland / DCA. :)

Where would you most like to travel to next?

You mean for the first time? Hm. I've never been east of the Mississippi so maybe something out there. But if you're asking what my next scheduled excursion is, I am heading back to Anaheim before the month is over.

The Blue Angels will be practicing overhead here in my SF neighborhood today, and then flying all weekend.
