Necessary Tears 2003-03-28 - 2:47 p.m. Well. As I sit here, I am in tears for two reasons. But I think they're finally all good. First Reason: Jamie's care package arrived here, after ten days on the USPS pack mule (Parcel Post). I have to wait until he gets home until I open it, so he can be on the telephone listening as I do this. He keeps mentioning that he sent me something to commemorate how much fun we had synchronizing our DVD players and watching Bridget Jones' Diary. I sure hope he didn't send me a thong. I'm more of the scary stomach holding in panties kind of gal. Although it's coming up on Easter... Hmmm. I bet I've guessed what's in here. Jamie's a good guy. I love him bunches. :) Second Reason: I was over at the official Erasure website, poking around to see if the lads were coming back to the states and if so, were there any dates announced yet -- and happened across an audio interview. Today, I finally heard the voice of the REAL Vince Clarke for the very first time. There are less and less moments of stumbling over the feelings I thought I had; they're in a box now, but I occasionally keep tripping over them like they're something I forgot to put away. Sigh. Stand, Walk, Run, Trip, Fall, Stand, Walk, Run, Trip, Fall... repeat as needed. ---
