Things Worth Mentioning

Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003 - 7:15 a.m.

I woke up with a headache today, so that's why this entry is so fragmented. My apologies.

---

One of the sniper suspects, John Muhammad, has asked to represent himself in Federal court.

The judge very sensibly said yes.

Can you say "Lead Pipe Cinch", dear readers? Sure. I knew you could. :)

---

The Florida state legislature has finally cleared the way for Governor Jeb Bush to put a stop to the murder of Terri Schindler-Schiavo. So now we'll see what he's made of, and if any of his father's values have been imparted to him.

---

Did you know I was the editor of a book that was chosen as the 'Read This Or Die' selection for the month of November, 1999, at the Sequential Tart website?

You didn't...?

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it here.

---

In other news, P@ul Schu!tz has decided to sell off portions of his Erasure collection on eBay. I have seen this collection in person, and it's truly one of the best E collections I have ever seen in my life. These are the twelve-inch singles. This is only the tip of the iceberg. He has many other items, and I suggest if you want to know what they are, go ahead and ask him for a list of items along with what he'd sell em for. I can vouch for the fact that Paul has taken immaculate care of these things, and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

If any of these items are things you want, go ahead and get them with BUY IT NOW, and please give these items a good home.

---

And finally, good luck to my pal Cheri, who has an interview with Mute USA tomorrow.:)
