All Things Just Keep Getting Better

Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004 - 4:35 a.m.

So I slept nearly seven hours in a row yesterday, completely med-free.

My eventual goal is eight consecutive hours per 24 hour period. I went to sleep at 6:30 pm, and woke up again at just after 1:00 am this morning.

I wandered out into the living room, and saw that there was a blinking light on my answering machine.

My heart leaped -- because in the past, a call at a late hour had only meant one thing. Andy was calling.

Except this time, it wasn't Andy.

You know who it was...?

It was Dave Marron, who called to sing me the theme song to 'Super Chicken'.

So, now I have a nice -- a MUCH BETTER -- association with a late night blinking light.

Thank you, Dave.

---

So I managed to log on at around 2:00 am -- and there was Laurent Koleda, my friend in Paris. He's stuck at work today.

But he did briefly say hello -- and give me permission to share his photo with you.

This is a screen capture of him at home on his webcam.

---

Tonight, my movie date with Jamie -- "Interstate 60"!!!...

---

And the counter says less than two months until I meet Cher1 H3ys3 in person. Sigh. I am so happy!...

---

Hey, you know what? If you sit up late enough, you can still see a damn music video once in awhile on MTV.

A few minutes ago I saw the video for the song that's being used for the theme of "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy".

Here's a portion of the lyrics.

Dedicated to the ones I love...

You came into my life
And my world never looked so bright
It's true, you bring out the best in me
When you are around
When you are around
All things just keep getting better...

---

Golden Globes on Sunday. I can't wait. Looking forward to seeing what people are wearing. :)
