Expirations Tuesday, Mar. 09, 2004 - 7:51 a.m. Somebody out there let a twenty-eight million dollar California lottery ticket expire today. I hope it wasn't you. --- Dave Marron mentioned to me last night that a body was pulled from the East River and identified as Spalding Gray. If you don't know Mr Gray by name, you would still recognize his work. I recommend renting 'Swimming To Cambodia' and experiencing the artistry of this man. --- My mother died nine years ago today. It was raining and cold. Lots of rain, and lots of cold. The roads were out due to low level flooding. My brother called me with the news at a little after nine that morning. I then called John at work and told him -- and then for some reason I have never understood to this day, I dug through my various papers until I found an old business card, and I called Scott Hysmith. Then I sent a fax to Ronn Owens. I wish I could remember more about that actual day. --- My brother's children have misplaced the cable remote. Their cable box is the kind that doesn't have a number pad on it in case something like this happens, so for four days in a row, everybody in the Landerman household has been availing themselves of the sonorous fruits of The Cartoon Network. --- Today is going to be another unseasonably warm day in San Francisco. I wish I hadn't thrown away that damned ice cream. :) ---
