Cheri's Visit, Day Four Sunday, Mar. 21, 2004 - 3:00 p.m. Sunday was quiet, and it seemed to be the shortest day and the longest day. Cheri and I went for a walk around my neighborhood, so I could show her where I shop and what I do when I'm out for a stroll; it's a good and interesting neighborhood, with a lot of shops devoted to the people who moved here from Russia. We managed to find some proper Mexican food at a place called Tommy's, which is just a few blocks from here. Cheri had been jonesing for Mexican food since she landed, and we were really pleased with the cuisine at Tommy's. After we ate, the owner found out Cheri had come here from New York City, and presented us with shot glasses with the restaurant logo on it. We went back home, and the three of us took a siesta to let everything digest. Cheri lay on the futon with her hand on her belly; I sat on the floor next to the futon, and we just sort of glazed over for awhile. But soon, it was time to go, so I went into the bedroom where John had gone, and asked him to get ready to depart. He'd fallen asleep and woke with a start. We got back to the airport on time, and had to say goodbye at the curb. It was a good visit, and we plan to have Cheri come out here again as soon as the stars line up again.:) I'll post pictures as soon as I have 'em edited for stuff like file size and whatnot. :) ---
