Thanks & JJ & Crumbs, Oh My

Sunday, Nov. 06, 2005 - 10:07 a.m.

Thank you so very much for your kind feedback regarding yesterday's post.

Every element of the design was carefully considered, and there's reasons for it looking the way it does, there's a reason it's the size it is, and there's even a reason it's on my left arm instead of my right.

I'm never going to know again what it's like to be unmarked; I now more completely understand why people indulge in body art to great extents.

Again, readers -- thanks.

I had a great visit yesterday afternoon with JJ. She showed me Clarion Alley, which is a place I had never been before and didn't know a thing about.

Visits with her are never ever boring. I think I'm even learning to play pool.

The visit ended with her leaning over the railing at the 16th Street BART station and seeing me off.

The only thing missing was the waving hankie and the confetti. Then again she may have used some and I missed it, because I had to choose between watching her say farewell and watching my step so I wouldn't fall down the stairs.

---

I tried to sent Br1@n Cl@yt0n an email yesterday to tell him about what I did, and it bounced. I had to go ask his friend Tim if he was still alive.

Tim forwarded my inquiry to Brian, and Brian finally dispensed a few crumbs to let me know he was still of this incarnation.

So this is good.

Today, I'm going to go and catch up on some temporal 3-D writing. I belong to A Women's Apa, which is a 'round robin' newsletter composed of sections that are written entirely by women, and this issue's submission is very nearly overdue!

So this post is a little abbreviated and that's why.

Take care, kids, and have a wonderful Sunday.
