My First Tattoo

Mom

Dose of Currie

Monday, Nov. 07, 2005 - 10:05 a.m.

I finished my snailmail / papermail / writing work.

It took me twelve hours, but it's out the door.

Other than a PEBCAK moment when I printed out ten pages of page two on the back of page two, things went well.

One would think a three page writing project including one page of pictures would be a simple thing for me to do, since I have a habit of writing a little something here every day.

But you know the old adage. It takes three weeks to write a five minute speech, but if you want a two-hour oration, I'm ready now.

---

I finally heard at length from the elusive Br1@n Cl@yt0n over the weekend.

I kind of gnawed on him for having one of his friends forward my email to him instead of acknowledging who I was and trusting me with the email.

Then Brian had the nerve to ask me how I was.

Um, you haven't contacted me unless I email first, for the last eight months. And you want to know how I am?

Dude, I have a blog. Go read it. It even has pictures. :-) This was essentially what I told him.

So he did, and he comes back with a bunch of questions about my new tattoo, like, does it still hurt, and are you going to get some color.

I'm leaving it free of color until at least my birthday, but if you're going to see me in person in the next six months, and you have any ideas, break out the sharpies.

---

I'm enjoying the syndicated broadcast of NYPD Blue on TNT in the mornings these days.

The final season's episodes are now being shown, which means I can have a daily dose of Currie Graham.

---

The tattoo is beginning to itch and flake. I know it's normal right about now, and I'm being good and not scratching.

---

Okay kids. Done! Have a good day.
