Hats

Thursday, Jul. 03, 2008 - 1:08 a.m.

Today is my last day in Anaheim until the next time I'm here.

I always have a good visit, although each of them have their moments.

Old Buddy Dave has been a gracious host as always.

---

I have no idea what to expect at the airport, but for some reason I'm under the impression that people don't fly home for the Fourth, so maybe it won't be too terrible there.

Knock on Formica.

---

As of this writing, I'm also as completely packed as I get before my last roundup of stuff, and before I shut the computer down.

Neener.

---

John called with the news about the car. The compressor failed, which is why the air conditioning was so pussified so quickly.

The repair is going to be a little spendy, but as many of us out there know to be a fact -- having perfectly working air conditioning is one of the things that almost always guarantees a summer that is colder and wetter than usual.

---

For those of you who read at work and have tomorrow off, have a good Fourth of July.

And if you're watching baseball on Friday, look at the hats.

---

Wow, the ants in China must be terrible.

---

That's it. Have a good Thursday.

From Monty Python: "A lot of people have asked us, why don't we just use fly spray. Well, where's the sport in THAT??"

I just noticed how you have Favorites above Diaryland, and my eyes played a trick on me and I misread it as Fairyland. (((hugs)))
