Keane's Next CD Tuesday, Apr. 25, 2006 - 8:13 a.m. I just caught a glimpse of the new album artwork for the next Keane endeavor, and I have to reflect on the saying I keep hearing time and again where show business is concerned: If it's not broken, break it. Holy Merde. The new Keane artwork isn't just bad -- it's ghastly. It literally looks like horses fucking. And the artwork for the first single is no better. And that stupid new FONT! Gag me with a BeeGees album!!! Keane already HAD a visual identity. I'm concerned that this has been such a drastic departure from their previous look and feel that anybody randomly passing through the music store might see the CD and not realize it's THEM. Actually, the album cover looks great, if you've time traveled back to about 1972 and it's a 12-inch LP so you can fucking SEE THE NAME OF THE BAND. But it isn't and you can't so it doesn't and it won't. Blechhh. I mean I'll BUY the thing, for heaven's sake. I just hope nobody recognizes me while I'm doing it. --- Nothing else of any significance going on that's for public consumption. :-P Have a good Tuesday ---
