IKEA & Easy Reader Monday, Jul. 31, 2006 - 10:18 a.m. The temperature is getting lower in Anaheim, thanks to Insert Deity Of Choice Here If Applicable. I had the pleasure of meeting Charlie's new friend, Ivy. She is sharp as a pin, has long inky black hair that glistens like a raven's wing, and the two of them are really delightful to see as a pair. Last night, Dave and I went to the IKEA store in Costa Mesa just before it closed. He found the nurnee he went there for, and then as we went back to Anaheim, and the warm evening air was feeling close, I suddenly got a craving for a Frosty from Wendy's. Yes, I know. Terrible food for me in all respects. We each ordered a large one, and when we got back to HQ, we were very glad we'd done so. Dave asked if I had any DVD requests, and I asked to see what was on the Electric Company DVD. Good heavens, I remembered the lyrics to THOSE songs. Punc Punc Punc PUNC-tu-a-tion... And oh my god, Morgan Freeman in bell bottoms and a fringe vest. --- Today I clear out of here and switch to a motel room for the remainder of my visit. It's the Motel 6 I was in last month where the hot water quit working on the last morning I was there, but it's a favorite haunt, so they get another chance, and besides, I can always get a shower at the Bachelor Pad if needed. That's about it from down here. If all goes well, the next entry will be from my own computer, and might have some pictures. Have a good Monday! ---
