Singing and Sparks

Sunday, Dec. 03, 2006 - 10:20 a.m.

I still haven't unpacked the laptop, but I think that's getting done today.

---

Anaheim is windy. Like, the bad scratchy dry wind that fills your eyes and nose up until you dig dirt-balls out of them when nobody is looking. The kind of wind that creates a charge and makes it impossible to touch a cat or a doorknob or a vehicle or even a microphone without getting zapped. Last night at the bar, I was walking around for quite awhile with my hair in a morbidly diaphanous halo complete with antennae above my bangs, and absolutely nobody bothered to mention it to me until I saw myself in the mirror of the ladies'.

The guitar playing was excellent last night; Rocky seems to be showing off less and less and actually settling down and playing, and Bob had Lucille with him (the glossy black one), so they were top form. I saw OBDave lean up to sing a couple of times and go pwah pwah, due to the microphone snapping at him.

---

I've given up trying to convince myself that long hair left loose and flowing is a good idea today; later this afternoon, OBDave and I will hit the grocery store and in an effort to combat static, I'll pick up some Bounce dryer sheets and sew an outfit out of them or something.

Have a good day. I'll press send and you'll hear me say OUCH!
