Mouse Party

Wednesday, Jun. 13, 2007 - 12:08 a.m.

Heading back to Anaheim today.

The tickets printed out just fine for me at home.

But they never do for my husband.

I guess that's what he gets for traveling under that nefarious Middle Eastern moniker, John McLaughlin.

---

I took an extra few moments and physically basted the rainbow strap to my luggage with a strong piece of black thread. It's now impossible to pull off. I have gotten damaged straps before and one that completely disappeared, so I think I'm all set now.

Knock on Formica.

---

This trip will also be an opportunity to meet an old friend in person for the first time.

Requiel and her tribe will be a Disney-ing this week.

She emailed me with her mundane name and cell number; I almost didn't know who it was because all I ever have called her is Requiel. So, I put her in my cell as "(Her first name) Requiel" to remind me who it is!

This will only be the second Diarylander I've ever met in person, the first being JJ.

Fingers crossed that we can sync up! Not sure if it will be an especially long visit, because it's family time, and I also don't know what Old Buddy Dave's schedule will be like, as it's hell week for him. (Grad Nights at the arcade)

But I hope this works out.

And yes, I'll take pictures.

---

There's also been a dinner invitation to me from none other than Scott Hysmith, who will be less than an hour's drive away from me on business during the last few days of my stay.

If the events of the day don't fry him, he'll traipse up to Anaheim from south of there. Not sure if I'm allowed to say what city he's doing business in, except it sort of sounds like Sand Burning Dildo.

---

Okay, there ya go. Have a good Wednesday, kids!
