First a Friday Five

Do you download music not from the popular genres of Top 40, pop, rock, rap, dance, R&B, or country?

I don't download any music that isn't offered for free, such as sample tracks from SoundClick, or when friends compose music and send it to me.

Are there any musicians for whom you've downloaded a significant amount of their material yet own few or none of their albums?

Nope. Heard Keane on Virgin Radio and went out and got Hopes and Fears from Amazon uk before it was available over here in the states, but I don't know if that counts. Probably not.

Have you ever enjoyed a downloaded album so much that you went and bought the physical album?

See above.

How many different ways of playing music do you own (such as radio, stereo system, computer, Walkman/Discman, mp3 player, mp3-ready phone, etc.)

Gee, mister burglar, I'd rather not give you a list of things to steal when I've got my back turned.

Do you still have and/or play a favorite vinyl album, cassette tape, or 8-track tape?

I own a bunch of LPs and a bunch of cassettes, but I rarely play either kind anymore.

Link is to the left.

Next -- later today Old Buddy Dave and I are going to Disneyland to meet fellow Diarylander Requiel and her family.

I hope everybody gets along, because the Requiel clan comes to the park as often as they can, and I want them to be able to refer to Old Buddy Dave if there's ever a need for any help from a local bloke.

---

Okay, kids, there you go. Have a good Friday.
