Paper Tray & George Takei Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 - 2:42 a.m. Old Buddy Dave's printer bit the dust awhile back and he only was particularly aware of this about a week ago, after I'd arrived. Apparently this was an annoying surprise to him, as he only turns the thing on and uses it these days when I'm in town, to print out my plane ticket. I remember him saying it nearly fell over during the earthquake on July 29th, and it's been persnicketty every since. So, off we went to get another one for him and we found something affordable. (Thanks, John!) Bonus: On a whim, the printer drivers were installed on my laptop, and hooray, they work. Now I can actually print out things from my computer, which is something I had never done before, either here, or in San Francisco. --- Congratulations to George Takei and Brad Altman, who got married yesterday. --- Nothing else to report. Have a nice Monday, if at all possible. ---
