Veeps And Smoots Wednesday, Oct. 08, 2008 - 12:01 a.m. I was watching Jeopardy last night and there was a category devoted to Vice Presidents. I am disgusted with myself because I realized I know the square root of doodly squat about the Vice Presidents., except for the ones who have been in office during my life time. So that's what I'm doing this week, reading about them. --- Meanwhile, over in Iran, women make up sixty percent of the people in universities, and now there's a car designed especially for women, taking into consideration the movement restrictions caused by some forms of the chador, not to mention being manufactured in more delicate colors. The softer side of Iran is pleasantly surprising to see -- especially since there are no homosexuals there. --- From Fark: The measurement known as a Smoot celebrates its 50th year in 2008. A Smoot is equal to 170.18 centimeters. I am 0.96956164082 Smoots tall. --- Gutenberg's printing press was to me, the greatest technnological contribution to human existence.
