It's Caturday Saturday, Apr. 25, 2009 - 12:18 a.m. Happy Saturday! First of all, Laila Cat is doing beautifully, and here is Old Buddy Dave's writeup of her visit to the doctor. I'm very glad to read about how well she's coming along. She got her cast changed; it's now a nice garish white, and from certain angles, she looks like a leg tree with cat part fronds: But she's improving every day. Photo by Old Buddy Dave, of course. --- Donation numbers for you: We have just passed the one thousand dollar mark in the donation effort. Fucking amazing, Wow. Thank you very much for this, as it has offset the bill by right around forty percent. I appreciate everybody who has given something, and everybody who is thinking good thoughts about Laila. --- In non-cat news, today I get to see Omaha Dave when he takes me to lunch. We have begun convening every four to six months whether we need to or not. My one minor self-niggle is that I haven't yet recorded myself working with the band, or even separately with Alan, because Omaha Dave asked about such, but that's bound to happen eventually, so it will have to wait. --- If you are new here and are visiting because of a banner click, then welcome. Here are three of my and Old Buddy Dave's earlier writeups about Laila here, here, and here. The last two links have pictures. Thanks for stopping in, and I hope you'll find something you like, and stick around. --- Nothing else to report; have a good Caturday. ---
