Sweet Jane Thursday, May. 07, 2009 - 12:33 a.m. The next band practice is scheduled for Sunday, May the 17th. I'm going to suggest that the band consider the Cowboy Junkies' version of Sweet Jane. I don't think it will be on any final set lists during shows, but it's a nice song and I'll at least ask them to try it. --- And tomorrow, Friday -- Keane. Which I can't even believe because it's been a skedillion years since I've seen them. --- In the Small Victories department, I've been looking for several years for a substitute version for the now-discontinued and very much missed by me Jane lipstick color 'Browned Down Red' and I think I've found it. Covergirl Continuous Cover Lipstick #800 in Honeyplum Glow. I haven't worn it much, but this is about as close to the mark as I think I'm going to get. Unless they bring back Browned Down Red again, which they won't because that would make too much sense. --- Tonight is Thursday the 7th, and I'm curling up with John in three dimension and Old Buddy Dave via chat, and we're all tuning in to watch the final episode of this season of Hell's Kitchen, which I've consistently and erroneously renamed "Devil Chef." It's down to Danny and Paula, and I think Danny's going to be the one to win this competion. But good luck to Paula as well. --- Cat Repair Donation news -- We just received a donation that put us over the eleven hundred dollar mark. Thank you!!!! --- That's it. Have a good Thursday. ---
