Exceptional Monday, Aug. 10, 2009 - 1:25 a.m. Band practice was exceptional yesterday. We are coalescing after less than two months together and it seems like everybody has a good contribution to make. There is humor and patience and an easygoing attitude with everybody, and yet, there's *just* enough structure within which we're all functioning optimally. Oh wait, except the drummer was a no-call no-show. Yeeks! I emailed him to check and see if he's all right. --- Mike The Bassist was there, thankfully, so all I had to do was distribute the set list, make notes of which songs we could and couldn't do yet, and sing background. --- In other news, Carl Reiner said the word 'cunt' on cable television last night. If that's a milestone, I'm not quite sure it was one I'd needed to see. --- Nothing else to report. Have a great Monday! ---
