Cut For A Week Monday, Aug. 09, 2010 - 12:09 a.m. It's been a week since the cut and I am loving it more every day. --- John and I had talked about heading over to the Ferry Building to get some gelato from Ciao Bella; they have a kiosk there. But then the day progressed and we absolutely could not bring ourselves to imagine getting on the bus and going down there, so instead, John did a smash and grab and procured a couple of pints from a local grocer. Ciao Bella. If you get a chance to have any of this stuff, do so. --- Whenever somebody reads about themselves and doesn't like what I've said, I have a hard time coming up with anything remotely resembling a sympathetic ear. The phrase "Hey! Quit making me look like an asshole!" is what I've heard the most. My response is always "All you have to do is not act like an asshole if you don't want to look like an asshole in print." How simple is that? That's simple. Simm. Fucking. Pull. Just thought I'd clarify that. --- That's it. Have a good Monday. ---
