April Disappeared Sunday, May. 04, 2014 - 12:35 p.m. Sorry about there not being an April entry. I couldn't concentrate on a blog entry. Here is why. A month ago, our landlord approached us with his belly exposed and said Sorry, But There Might Be Some Noise From Next Door. The dear man was absolutely correct. The contractors working in the adjacent apartment have apparently been attempting to rip out that studio and cram a one bedroom in there instead by hammering everything in there to everything else in there. For six hours a day, five days a week, for what's beginning the fifth week. Occasionally they do stop hammering and use a drill to strip screws. This makes a rich joisty sound that no amount of Volume Up can counteract. Sunday was the event horizon; they foundered around down in the ground floor carport and managed to set up an on site operation where they cut some marble for the countertops. Because the noise shouldn't be confined to just one wall. I'm not gonna lose my shit. Not gonna. Nope. There is now a gazebo with an arrow sticking out of it. ---
