Another Pleasant Foggy Sunday

Sunday, Jul. 06, 2003 - 9:48 p.m.

Yesterday, I had a nice opportunity to visit with my fellow Diarylander Ginger31277 on Yahoo! Messenger last evening. I was even able to sorta halfassedly share a sunset with her and with Todd. It had been socked-in foggy all day, and at the end of the day, the sun appeared below the fog but above the horizon, and it made the entire sky this bright pinkish purplish orange -- you know. That sunset color that can't be described?...

Some hours later, I also webcammed with Utah Paul, and he got some show-and-tell as well. He's recently had abdominal surgery, and had a bunch of questions about my scar, and what sort of surgery I had, so, basically I dropped trou -- no, not all the way down, thank you -- and gave him the nickel tour. He's only a month gone from his operation, so his scars are still extremely visible and still healing, and was curious as to what his scars are going to look like in twenty years, which is how long ago I had -my- surgery.

Today was quiet. Foggy. I actually got out of the house and into the glare of the fog, whish isn't that nice wispy stuff, either -- it's the fog that makes you feel like you are walking through the world's biggest sneeze.

Jamie just logged on and I'm IMing with him now.

I saw a strange weird thing today when we got home. Stupid Larry's kids were heading into the garage, and they were almost followed into the apartment by a man we had never seen before. Older, scruffy-looking, and definitely not somebody who should be playing with two preadolescent boys unless he is the nanny. If we see him around again, we're going to ask questions. And the next time we see Stupid Larry around, we'll be sure and ask who that man is. Fuck the rudeness of being nosy. I just want those kids to be all right.
