The weekend was placid here at Chez McLaughlin.

We were blessed with a higher than normal amount of humidity all through the day on Sunday, but then the cooler fog rolled in and it became bearable.

Got a nice piece of news in my inbox on Sunday...

My Erasure "When A Lover Leaves You" Garage Band Remix Contest entry has been received and is now in the running.

Mind you, I realize I'm not going to finish anywhere near the best entries.

But it will still show up on the Erasure Information Service, as will all of the entries received, and I had a lot of fun dithering around with the materials provided.

According to what I understand, all entries will begin to appear on the EIS after the contest closes on July 27th.

I wonder if Vince and Andy are going to be forced to listen to all of us amateur mixologists as we mutilate their masterpiece in various ways?

Hopefully there'll be somebody they trust to act as a buffer between them and the worst of the lot.
