Jinx Birds Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 - 2:41 a.m. My friends, I believe I have experienced the event horizon for ridiculous Christmas decorations. Don't believe me?...Have a look. --- I didn't want to say anything and jinx what's up, but John and I are both doing Atkins again. I fell off the wagon more than I'll ever admit in print, but I already feel better after having resumed my low-carb regimen. Six days into my sugar cutback, I've lost eight pounds. John has lost about the same amount, which has made his back and hips feel better. --- Last night, John had me sit and watch Sense And Sensibility; he warned me I was likely to cry at the end, and he was right. It was lovely! Thank you, hon! --- I have received exactly NO response from the complaint letter I sent yesterday; are we surprised? All together now: NOOOOO! --- I caught about the last third of The Birds while I was writing this post; I looked it up in Wikipedia and in the IMDB, and I found an interesting bit of trivia about it I didn't know before:
I didn't know that. Never knew why it sounded so creepy until now. --- All right, there ya go. Have a nice Saturday. ---
