Canada Day 2009 Wednesday, Jul. 01, 2009 - 1:45 a.m. First, happy Canada Day for my readers north of here. --- Well. Eddie Van Halen got married again over the weekend. This is nice. Good for him. I hope he and his new wife will be very happy. But I'm curious. How much dumber than a rock do you have to be to not stay married to Valerie Bertinelli? Oh wait, I'm reading some more about the happy couple. Seems Eddie has been sober for a year and a half. This says a lot. And oh by the way, here's an awesome picture of Wolfgang. --- Today, I practiced playing the bass, and then during the song "Under The Milky Way", I switched over to the pennywhistle to play the bagpipe solo. Yeah yeah I know, but trust me, it's working. Anyway, I began playing the pennywhistle, and Solange, who had been dead bug asleep on her window perch with all four paws in the air suddenly flinched awake, glared at me, and then dashed into the living room. Further investigation revealed that Laila was equally as disgusted with me. So, farewell, pennywhistle -- back in the suitcase it goes. --- That's it from here for now. Pictures soon. Have a good Wednesday. ---
