Camera Fireworks Monday, Jul. 06, 2009 - 2:04 a.m. Old Buddy Dave and I made it to Disneyland on Sunday night. We got there in time to see the special Fourth Of July Fireworks thingumy, which was only about ten minutes in length, versus the fifteen minute regular show. Then we waited up in front of the castle for the fire crew to complete the walk through and drop the rope, so we could enter Fantasyland and hit the Peter Pan ride. When we got to the ride, we found that the five thousand other people who had waited behind that rope were all in line ahead of us. --- Had a slightly aggravating experience with my new camera. Saturday night at the club, it behaved beautifully and even bought everybody a round of drinks. But last night, outside in the dark, under special lighting conditions, my camera had a hissy. Note to self: Never take a camera to Disneyland that is smarter than you are. Just watch the pretty show instead of looking down at a persnicketty device. --- Not much else to report, and obviously, no goddamned pictures. Oh, well. Must be a Monday. Have a good one. ---
